A friend was going out for her birthday and she decided Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. was the place she wanted to go. I was excited to see the restaurant inspired by the movie Forrest Gump.The staff are super friendly and they must hire the most helpful people. The atmosphere features a ton of memorabilia from the movie mixed with some gems that will make folks say " I used to play with that when I was a child". I started with calamari and it was perfectly done if not a tad stingy with the amount one gets. Next I had the stuffed shrimp and they were delicious. I then finished with the most sumptuous dessert: the bread pudding. Wow O wow. That is the most soft, moist and sweet end to a meal. The whole experience was excellent if not a tad pricey. I will go back just for the bread pudding so freakin good. If you are looking for a fun dining experience that is great for all ages, go to Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.

I went to this place because of the movie Forrest Gump. This place is located inside the West Edmonton Mall. Ordered their version of Mac and Cheeze. The taste is delicious. You can order a beverage which comes with a free glass (of course there is an extra charge to it). The interior of the place has a coastal vibe, which I like. Server is very good. I forgot his name but he is a very good server. I will surely come back.

Our servers were excellent. They suggested items on the menu., answered questions. Our food was delicious. Coffee cups were refilled as needed. We always enjoy our stop here.

A good place to try especially if you've seen the movie Forrest Gump. They have many props that elude to the movie like the pingpong paddle menu features and signature run Forrest run signs. Decor is worth looking at. A neat thing about this place is that when you need the server, just flip your "Run Forrest Run" sign to the *Stop Forrest Stop" sign and you will get your servers attention. They have a bucket at each table which includes their signature hot sauce, Tobasco sauce and ketchup. Share plates also readily available at the table. Although customer service and atmosphere was really good, there wasn't anything special about the food. The food is definitely overpriced for what they're worth. Tried the shrimp shack mac & Cheese along with Forrest's seafood feast, which is rated most popular. However, I don't think I would come back here for the food alone.

If you like glitzy chains with deep-fried everything, and lots of shrimp, this is the place for you. The service was great, friendly and efficient. The food was good... Can you really thumb down deep-fried shrimp? The drinks were tasty, but verging on dessert. Portions are all large and the kids love the glowing glasses.

The food was okay. Got the shrimp Mac and cheese and the assorted platter. Mac and cheese had a metallic taste like I was biting into the flying pan it was cooked in and I did not enjoy this. The platter was very good but I would not spend the price on it if I were to ever go back there again. Service was very good as was the atmosphere. Food was just not what I would expect for the cost.

I had asked a few people who've gone here to get a feel of whether to come or not. I decided to see for myself and thank goodness I did! Service was great and the food was better than what I heard about. I would definitely come here again and try the other dishes.

Awesome place! Coming from Toronto, I will go again whenever I'm at Edmonton again.

The meals were really good. Some of the best shrimp I have ever had. Sweet and tasty. Ribs were good too. A bit on the pricey side - yeo meals and one coffee was almost $65 not including tip. The restaurant is a Forest Gump cafeteria. Lots of memorabilia from that movie. Lots of small tables close together. Quite noisy, not too much ambience. Still a good place for a seafood meal.

I love this place they got great amenities especially all the pictures of the movie Forrest Gump in the background.This place is also very clean including the washroom. The food is tasty and affordable. I just love Lt. DAN's and Forrest Gump menu. The gift shop is also a fan delight if you want to grab a souvenir. I bought myself the iconic cap of Forrest Gump from the movie. This is highly recommended place to eat if you are in West Edmonton Mall.

The wait to get in was an hour, but we weren't disappointed. The shrimpers heaven was delicious. My father had steak and it came out piping hot and cooked perfectly, which is unusual for a seafood restaurant. The Jenny's catch was buttery, flavorful and such a large portion. The only complaint I'd have is that both mine and my mom's fries came out cold. Must try: Cajun marmalade! I hope they consider selling it in their store.

The place was a very good place to relax. Had a good time and the foot and service was great 👍

It definitely is an experience going to Bubba Gump Shrimp. You will be surrounded by movie artifacts and references. If you love shrimp this is a place to be! Bathroom is huge and very clean.It can get quite busy, so booking is a good backup plan.

Food was absolutely amazing and the atmosphere was great! Everything from food presentation to the fun trivia at the end! All in all great experience.

Went there for lunch and had the Shrimper's Heaven and the Jumbo Shrimper's Net Catch in Cajun flavoring. Not bad. The service was a bit slow but we weren't in a hurry.

First time at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Grace made our experience enjoyable. Good food with great customer service! Would definitely recommend and will come back. Only thing that I would change is that you advertise a light up souvenir cup with certain beverages purchased. We ordered two of those beverages but only received a tall glass that does light up at the bottom. We were looking forward to that light up glass, a little disappointed but what can you do. Still enjoyed our experience!

I ate all my food. It was what you would expect from a chain. The service is what you would expect from a big chain. Everything was what you would expect from a big chain. Not spectacular, not bad, but perfectly average. Normally perfectly average is a 3 star review... but today it is a 4 star review for making an attempt at supporting Alberta Craft with Big Rock’s Grasshopper my first craft beer. Beer so good even Forrest Gump drinks it. Best beer they had on tap.

Food was so good. It was served much faster then I had expected. The staff is very friendly.

When I was in Alberta visiting my Daughter, on the way back to the Airport, we went to Bubba Gump's for supper. We met up with friends. The food was really great, the atmosphere was great. There is a waiting time before you can enter, but it's worth the wait. It is a very busy restaurant. Staff is very friendly. I would highly recommend it.

We loved this restaurant! The server was so nice and wonderful with our kids, she even hugged the kids when we left. The food and atmosphere were wonderful. The service was so fast we didn't even flip over our sign quick enough and we had 2 servers ask to refill my husband's drink! Would eat the again in a heartbeat.

Went for Birthday Dinner. The new Summer menu is out. Try the bacon wrapped shrimp..so delicious! Shrimper's Net catch is always s favorite appetizers, shrimpers heaven and run across America are great choices too! The Strawberry Mango chiller so yummy. Staff are extra friendly, service is fast. Love to come here.

The restaurant is visually eclectic and the decor is neat as there is a bunch of memorabilia from the Forest Gump movie. It’s hard to forget that the theme of the restaurant is based on a fictional story. As to the food the eye appeal is good but lacking in quality to some extent and taste is okay. The food is definitely over priced. The restaurant is clean. Our server was friendly and courteous, she was attentive to our needs. The Key Lime pie for dessert was the best part of the meal. Overall it was a pleasant experience but nothing to special and way overpriced.
